ZINC was founded in 1999 by Denise Appel and Donna Curran, and through their two decades of leadership, set new standards for locally-driven cuisine with global inspiration. ZINC has been the recipient of numerous awards throughout its storied history, including receiving the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence for having one of the most outstanding restaurant wine lists in the world.
Since 2022, local entrepreneur and philanthropist Alexander Clark has taken up the torch to carry forward the legacy of ZINC into the decades ahead, preserving the traditions and identity of ZINC and setting new standards and traditions ahead.
